ServSafe® Certification is ANSI/CFP accredited program. The ServSafe accredited training program is Food Protection Manager Certification. This is a 5 year certification program*. Online courses are also offered.
National Registry of Food Safety Professionals is ANSI/CFP accredited program. The NRFSP training program is Food Safety Management Principle. This is a 5 year certification program*. This is the approved program through which the Allegheny County Health Department is providing classes.
*With both the above programs, the certification for Allegheny County businesses is only 3 years.
